Giving to Intensive Spanish Summer Institute and Amigos

Sí Spanish sponsors and partners with LTCC's Intensive Spanish Summer Institute (ISSI)

August 3 to 7, 2015 - South Lake Tahoe - Registration starts in June 2015

Sí Spanish is excited to sponsor and partner with Lake Tahoe Community College's Intensive Spanish Summer Institute. Each August, the beautiful Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC) campus, located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, transforms itself into a Mexican pueblo offering students an immersion into the Spanish language and culture. The Intensive Spanish Summer Institute has been recognized by the California Coummunity College Board of Governors as an Outstanding Community College Progam, and has received numerous awards and commendations. Each year, exciting new courses and educational opportunities are added.

During the weeklong Institute, students can earn credit in courses designed to promote the development of fluency in Spanish. The full-day program for Beginning through Superior levels, emphasizes oral and written skills. In addition to grammatical sessions, there will be over 90 different cultural breakouts offered including topics on street Spanish, literature, music and dance, arts and crafts, and travel highlights on Mexico, Cuba, and Argentina.

Please visit the ISSI website for more information. Early registration is highly encouraged. Take lessons with Sí Spanish to brush up on your Spanish before the program and to maintain your Spanish after the program.
